Program Overview
The Multicraft Maintenance program is a full-time certificate course. This program prepares students for a career as a multicraft technician.
 
What You’ll Learn
In this program, you'll have the opportunity to learn about:  
  • Basic Safety
  • Construction Math
  • Introduction to Hand Tools
  • Introduction to Power Tools
  • Blueprint Reading
  • Welding
  • Introduction to Construction Drawings
  • Introduction to Material Handling
  • Green Environment
  • Basic Communication Skills
  • Basic Employability Skills
In addition,   students will receive training for hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial mechanics, programmable logic controllers, manual machining, and electrical control systems & 480/3PH.

WorkKeys® Assessment    
The WorkKeys® Assessment is administered as part of the registration process. Students will complete the following sections: 
 
Applied Math - critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem solving techniques.  
Graphic Literacy - skills needed to locate and use information from charts, diagrams, etc.   
Workplace Documents - ability to understand written text to complete a task.

 
Each assessment is scored individually on a possible range of <3 - 7.
