GED Preparation & Basic Skills Classes

The Eastland-Fairfield Aspire program offers FREE  Adult Education classes to those 19 and over (and to 16, 17, and 18-year-olds with an official withdrawal from school).
Some topics of study include:

Adults who leave high school before completing the 12th grade can obtain an Ohio High School Equivalence Diploma by achieving a specified score on the official GED test. Those who pass the GED test receive credentials certifying they have attained knowledge and skills associated with high school completion.
 
Students interested in attending our free classes must first complete New Student Orientation.   In order to attend classes, students must attend a three day orientation.  Our next Orientation will be held January 3rd, 4th & 8th.  Students must attend  ALL THREE DAYSWe offer a morning session from 9am -12pm and an evening session from 6pm - 9pm.  Click HERE to sign up for the orientation.

ESOL & Citizenship Classes  

Free classes for individuals age 18 and over who do not have an F1 VISA. Those who wish to enroll in these courses must:
  • Attend orientation
  • Complete a skill assessment
  • Participate in appropriate level classes

Our next session of classes will begin on January 16th and 17th. In order to attend our free classes, students must attend a two-day orientation and testing session. The  next orientation will be January 8th and 10th.   We have a morning and evening session available.

The evening session is at Eastland Career Center 4465 S. Hamilton Rd, Groveport, OH 43125.  It runs from 6:00 - 9:00pm 
 
The morning session is held at our Adult Workforce Building at 4300 Amalgamated Place, Groveport, OH 43125.  It runs from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.
