Students find success at the HOSA International Leadership Conference
Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools students from the Bioscience Technologies Satellite at Clark Hall in Gahanna recently participated at the HOSA Future Health Professionals International Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas, where students in school districts from around the world competed in various leadership and skills competitions. The conference featured over 8,500 students from across the United States and several countries, including Canada and China.  Ohio HOSA chapters had 22 top 10 finishes at the national competition, with Eastland-Fairfield receiving four of those, the most of any Ohio school.

Students who attended the HOSA International National Leadership Conference and received awards and recognition were:
  • Gahanna Lincoln High School students Neha Badam, Kayla Davis, Hanna Ford, Sreekar Miriyala, and Ian Slaughter; Pickerington North High School student Brittany Isbister;   Whitehall-Yearling High School student Makida Bekele; and Groveport-Madison High School student Haylee Ottman received the Barbara James Service Award, which honors those with an excess of 100 service hours each;
