Employability Prep

Program Overview

Employability Prep is for students seeking a personalized, transitional program to develop positive work habits and other employability skills. This program offers students with learning differences (ages 16-21) the opportunity for placement into a variety of community job sites. This supported, on-site training program prepares students for future employment by developing the good decision-making and problem-solving skills necessary to meet each student’s and business partner’s needs. Upon acceptance, the student's areas of interest and skills are considered for placement in an appropriate work experience.

Eastland-Fairfield provides two sections of Employability Prep, one built to serve Franklin County students and business partners and a second section that is designed to serve students and organizations in Fairfield County. Each section has unique characteristics to serve students and families in the best way possible.
