Summer Meal Program Availability

The Summer Food Service Program meals have a new name, now called SUN meals! All children ages 1 through 18 are eligible to receive free meals during the summer months at participating program sites. Individuals ages 19 through 21 who have been identified as having mental or physical disabilities and are following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) through their current enrollment in educational programs also are eligible for free summer meals.

Meal Menus

Students and families can view upcoming meal menus through MySchool Menus. Meal price and nutrition information, allergen information, and build-a-meal options are also available on this page. 

Menu Information

  • Breakfast is available to all students, daily.

  • Plate lunches contain the basic food groups, including: protein, grains, vegetables, fruits, and 1/2 pint of milk. Items that qualify for the plate lunch will be labeled in the serving line.

  • Vegetarian options are available.

Eastland-Fairfield uses PaySchools Central, providing parents with a one-stop portal to manage their student's meal program and other fee-related needs.

  • No credit card is necessary, and get set up in just minutes.

  • Set up auto-replenish to automatically refill lunch accounts when they are running low.

  • Set up reminders and alerts so you do not miss important information.

  • Review your child's purchases.

  • Take care of payments 24/7 from any device.

Additional Payment Information

Payment by cash or check is also accepted.

A $10.00 charge limit is allowed for each student.

Note: If your child has a PaySchools Central account at their home school, you must use a different email address to create your new Eastland-Fairfield account.

Free & Reduced Lunch Program

Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical is a member of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Eligible families may apply to receive a reduced or free breakfast and/or lunch. Per new legislation, free lunches are only available to those families that apply for the NSLP program or are considered Direct Certified. 

The NSLP is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential childcare institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day.

To apply to the Free & Reduced Lunch Program at Eastland-Fairfield:

  • Please create or login to your child's PaySchool Central account

  • Open the menu and select Free/Reduced Lunch Application

  • Follow the on-screen prompts. Tutorials and instruction guides are available here.

Important note: If you are a Direct Certified family, you do not need to complete this application.

USDA National Hunger Hotline

The USDA National Hunger Hotline remains a helpful resource for people seeking food assistance. The hotline, operated by Hunger Free America, can be reached Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET. at 1-866-3-HUNGRY (1-866-348-6479) or for Spanish-speaking families, call 1-877-8-HAMBRE (1-877-842-6273).
