Program Overview

New in Fall 2023 is the Robotics & Automation program at Eastland Career Center! This program will prepare students to lead the way in a world of evolving professions with this hybrid of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering. Professionals entering these fields are creating smart, innovative robotic machines that contribute to industries such as manufacturing, mining, aviation, and transport.

Robotics & Automation is designed to prepare students to enter into the high-skilled areas of robotics and industrial automation or serve as a springboard toward an engineering degree. Students in Robotics & Automation will begin to study applications of robotics, control systems, electro-mechanical systems, and similar engineering to help complete projects and troubleshoot problems in a given industry.
