Program Overview

Begin your journey to learn how to assist in the care, treatment, and healing of patients in need of the skills and expertise the STNA program can provide. This is a one-year, senior-only program designed to put students on the right path toward obtaining an STNA licensure or similar credential.

Students will learn the basic skills in patient and health care including feeding, bathing, personal hygiene, catheter care, monitoring vital signs, and mobilizing patients. Students will be prepared to enter a variety of industry settings including assisted living facilities, hospitals, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, residential care facilities, or even in the patient’s home.
