EFCTS SkillsUSA Regional Officers

Five newly elected SkillsUSA Regional Officers and one current State Officer from EFCTS recently completed the intensive Regional Officer Training Institute (ROTI), held from January 19 to 22, 2026.

Eastland-Fairfield students demonstrated incredible leadership by filling five of the nine officer positions in the Central Region. This group represents a diverse cross-section of our community, including both juniors and seniors from all three SkillsUSA chapters:

  • Dhruv Das – Cyber Security, New Albany High School (Junior)

  • Jayce Fischer – Criminal Justice, Eastland Career Center (Senior)

  • Raina Redd – Dental Assisting, Eastland Career Center (Junior)

  • Diana Silva Salazar – Dental Assisting, Eastland Career Center (Junior)

  • Cassady Fannin – Pre-Nursing, Fairfield Career Center (Senior)

  • Mamouna Diallo – Pre-Nursing, Fairfield Career Center (Senior) & SkillsUSA State Officer

Throughout the four-day program, these officers worked together to refine their leadership skills, practice professional presentations, and meet with state representatives to advocate for the vital role of career-tech education. Their hard work resulted in several high-level honors:

  • GOLD: SkillsUSA 101 Presentation

  • SILVER: CTE Advocacy Presentation

  • BRONZE: Official Opening & Closing Ceremony

In addition to these professional accolades, Jayce Fischer and his roommate earned the Cleanest Room Award, a lighthearted honor that highlights their commitment to professionalism in all environments.

SkillsUSA is a student-led organization dedicated to empowering students to become skilled professionals and responsible community leaders. We are proud of these students for exemplifying this mission and look forward to seeing them lead the way at the SkillsUSA Regional Competitions this March.
