Twenty-five students from the Eastland-Fairfield Multimedia program attended the Business Professionals of America (BPA) State Leadership Conference Awards Ceremony on February 23rd and 24th at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Columbus.
Students competed in several events related to digital media and communication, including graphic and UX design, web design, video production, computer animation, podcast production, presentation management, and broadcast news production.
This year was a record year for the program, with Multimedia students qualifying for state competition in nine different events, the most in program history. Of those teams and individuals, seven advanced to the stage as state finalists. In total, eighteen Eastland-Fairfield students were recognized as state finalists.
Several students will now advance to the BPA National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee from May 6 through May 10, 2026.
